"Very interesting course. I always focus on the functional requirements of tasks and the assignment of people to those tasks. This course will help me look at cultural and learning style differences as well."
Dealing With Difference - From the get-go, working with eCornell has been an extremely positive experience. I received immediate follow up from program advisors after my initial inquiry.. Registration and payment were a breeze with the assistance provided. In my opinion, the attention and assistance that the eCornell faculty and staff provide to each student is comparable in quality to that of a four-year or graduate program. I have completed my first class, and I wanted to follow up and say what a great experience this has been so far. My peers provided fantastic discussion points. I read through many posts that gave me insight to their diverse experiences. The course material hits the nail on the head with issues I deal with on a day-to-day basis as a team lead. eCornell is a fantastic resource for professionals who are seeking to expand their professional knowledge on their own schedule. So far, it has exceeded my expectations.Melanie Pezzula - Senior Technical Writer - Serco, Inc. from Arlington, VACertificate: Master Certificate in Project Leadership and Systems Design
- I am really enjoying the online learning experience. The eCornell staff have been very helpful and timely in responding, which has made the learning experience that much more enjoyable. Since this is a distant learning program, it is important for students to feel that they have regular access to staff and instructors, which eCornell has certainly done for me.Alexander Damouni - General Manager - Intramas W.L.L. from Doha, QatarCertificate: Master Certificate in Systems Design & Project Leadership

"The fact that the course had a virtual group work component was beneficial to me because I work for a global organization that is using virtual groups more frequently."
Project Teams: Mining Collective Intelligence - Great course! I feel that there was a great deal that I was able to take away from the course and apply to my job! Thank you, look forward to taking the rest of the courses.Christine AmendolaIntroduction to Project Leadership

"I have just completed the Project Leadership certificate - I've greatly enjoyed doing this and feel better prepared for my job.
I will shortly start a new project - the opening of a 650 room Crowne Plaza hotel in Taiwan. After a discussion with the Regional General Manager and based on my feedback on the course, the hotel management team will be given the target to complete a minimum of 2 eCornell courses, including Dealing with Difference and Conflict Resolution."
Dealing With Difference - Valuable material, perfect system and excellent support. I have nothing more to say other than it's the best.Dr. Basheer Kadhum - Head of Service & Maintenance Department - National Contracting Company from Sharjah, UAECertificate: Master Certificate in Systems Design and Project Leadership (CEMC01)
- As a PMP with very little experience/skills in the product management field, I found that the System Design curriculum gave me a deeper understand of how projects are "born," or should be. Keep in mind that the Project Leadership courses do not focus entirely on the project management processes but instead focuses on skills that are integral to the success of a project manager's leadership (communication, handling of conflict, etc.) In System Design, you are more focused on the steps to "Getting Design Right". If you take the courses in the order of the "Getting the Design Right" process, you'll find that the last course (Executing & Improving System Design) ties into the beginning of Project Management methodology as the design becomes a project.Todd Osborne - PMP Project Manager - World Wrestling Entertainment from New York, NYCertificate: Master Certificate in Systems Design & Project Leadership

"The course triggered very useful self-reflection. It proved immensely useful not just in highlighting what can go wrong, but in providing the tools to do it right. I wish I could have taken this course five years ago."
